• No open fires or BBQ's allowed
• Absolutely no Litter (includes bottle tops and cigarette ends) please place litter into the designated bags
• 3 carp rods per person only
• No Long shank or bent hooks
• Barbed hooks ONLY, No barbless hooks. Size 4 or 6 korda widegape are Best
• No plastic, rubber or artificial baits
• No braid mainlines
• No lead core or carp leaders of any description
• No uncoated braid for hooklinks, coated braid only i.e. camo skin, snakebite, korda hybrid etc (if your not sure please ask)(see tips pages)
• 15/18 pound breaking strain line ONLY, reels of suitable size to be used and spools must be fully filled with line
• No death or fixed rigs
• No fixed leads or inline leads (semi fixed only) lead release clips to be cut back to allow lead to release freely if snagged
• Never stand up holding a carp in your hands or arms or carrying to another swim
• Carp to be moved on swim in weighing sling or Unhooking mat only
• Only weighing slings provided by us to be used
• Unhooking mat provided must be used (please wet before use)
• Only the landing net provided by us to be used
• Please return Fish to water quickly
• Please keep the fish wet while unhooking and taking pictures
• If unhooking carp on a hot day soak unhooking mat to cool it first
• Rig tubing minimum 700mm/28inches long compulsory on all lines (To prevent scales lifting and fin damage)
• Klinik, or medicarp or similar compulsory
• No nuts of any description and only particles prepared and supplied by us to be used
• No shelf life bait to be used , Popups are ok.
• No sacking of carp, DO NOT bring a sack with you
• Mobile phone ring tones, Radio or similar to be kept turned down
• Respect the local wildlife and nature
• No drunk persons are allowed to be near the lakes, moderate drinking only

A deposit of £50 / €75 is payable on arrival at the fishery, this deposit will be forfeited if any of the equipment supplied is damaged or for breaking any of the above rules, otherwise the deposit is refunded in full at the end of your holiday.

You are entirely responsible for the full replacement cost of any item damaged by you regarding anything owned by Brittany Mill Lakes .

All of these rules are in place to protect the welfare of our carp and you the angler. We want you to catch them in pristine condition and obeying these simple rules helps to ensure that is so. Likewise we want the lakes and the environment to be in pristine condition this is for everyone's enjoyment, so we ask please if you can leave it as you found it and thank you for doing so.
