I and Shep would like to formally thank you for an awesome trip, probably the best in the travelling guide series this year! What you state in your promotion is what you get, which is unusual! As many lake owners exaggerate within their adverts.

I will endeavour to promote your lakes as much as possible as I believe that Brittany Mill lake is amongst the finest holiday venue available, I am still on a high, thanks go to you, Andrea and your family.

If your looking for a French venue to fish, look no further! Stunning lake, awesome fishing, fantastic food (thank you Andrea and Mandy), excellent facilities and bankside assistance. Everything you need for a great French fishing experience is here! All in all, Brittany mill lakes is a carp fisherman's dream and is an example that other French venues should follow. I will be back steve, without a doubt!!!

Excellent fishery. Good location. Swims well laid out. Well stocked. Facilities are excellent. Our week here has been really enjoyable. The lake was fishing well. Our hosts Steve Andrea, Ricky and Mandy were very hospitable, extremely helpful. We will come again and recommend Brittany Mill Lakes to anyone who wants an enjoyable, friendly well catered for fishing holiday.

Dear Steve,

My brother, his son and myself wish to thank you and you family for the fantastic holiday we had with you.

It could not be more more perfect the food was superb, the Fishing was unbeliveable a 65lb Sturgeon, and a PB 46lb Mirror for me.

My brother broke his PB about 5 times his biggest was 451b, he had a 18 fish haul including 5 different 40's the smallest of his fish being 29lb 12oz.

My nephew also broke his PB 3 or 4 times He caught the Sturgeon at 65lb before i did too.
Biggest carp being 37lb and he also had the smallest fish of the trip 26 1/2lb (not really that small)

I have been to France many times over the 20 years or so and can honestly say without doubt'
if there was a top 100 guide for fishing holidays you would be at the top of the list.

Just a few lines to thank you both for an enjoyable stay last week.
We can't thank you both enough for your hospitality, and a 1st class fishery.
In particular,the standard of cooking and presentation was excellent and would put many a restaurant to shame!

Of the fishing?--------well,I was well pleased with the results for the week........16 Carp,...1 45,...14 Carp over 30lb to 39lb and of course the 2 cats 1 of 84lb and 1 of 58lb.Brilliant!
We will be returning next year and look forward to seeing you both again then,In the meantime I would have no hesitation in highly recommending Brittany Mills to anyone wishing to experience good carping(and Catfishing),plus excellent cuisine in beautiful and peaceful surroundings.

Hi Steve and all,

Sorry it’s taken a while for me to get back to you - it’s funny how one week off results in a one month work backlog!! Anyway that’s life.
Just wanted to let you know how impressed my Father and myself were with the lake, facilities and above anything else the way you did anything you could to help.
My tally for the week was six fish - first was a 35lb common (the one thing I wanted from the week was a 30lb common - to get it first fish ,well what can I say) then four lovely fish all very near or over 30 and on the last night a 43lb mirror!! I worked it out and the average for the week was 33lb which is incredible. I have fished in France a few times now but I can honestly say that the other venues I have been to don’t measure up to Brittany Mill lakes. I have and will continue to recommend you to anyone looking for a trip to France who wants to be looked after in a beautiful place with amazing fish and better than anything else to get exactly what is advertised.
Have just looked at the website.....51 lbs!!! Things really are looking good
I will certainly be back soon.
